Established in 2019, HOURLOGY SERVICE operates a purpose-built workshop in the heart of Jakarta, Indonesia, where we handle more than 1,000 interventions per year. At present we perform maintenance and repairs exclusively of Omega watches, the Swiss luxury watchmaker. Our facilities reflect our commitment to servicing with the highest quality, utilizing state of the art equipment operated by experienced watch technicians trained and accredited by Swatch Group and Omega SA.

All parts that we use are genuine Omega parts sourced directly from the brand’s Principal and are always installed using proprietary equipment to ensure proper assembly and eliminate risks of damage to the watch.

A high-quality luxury watch is always designed and created to stand the test of time. It is designed to accompany the wearer through life and continue to give time with beauty and precision, but only if it regularly receives the best care. The service frequency depends on the use of the watch and the environment in which it is worn. The water resistance can, for example, be affected by the ageing of the gaskets or by an accidental shock. Therefore, we recommend that you have the water resistance checked once a year and a complete service performed every 5 to 8 years by an authorized service center.

We offer a twenty-four (24) month warranty on the work carried out. In the event of a fault covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion and without cost, repair or replace any spare parts and/or rectify any faults as identified by our customer service. All other rights resulting from the faulty execution of our services are expressly excluded. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by accidents, lack of care or negligence. The warranty is rendered void if any work was carried out on the watch by persons who are not authorized to do by Omega SA.

 

OUR THREE TYPES OF SERVICE 

1. Complete Service

The complete service restores both the functional and the aesthetic aspect of the timepiece. It includes the complete dismantling, the overhauling, and the replacement of all worn components in the movement.

2. Partial Service

The partial service ensures that your watch case is sealed to withstand water according to your model’s specifications. It includes checking and tuning the movement without dismantling it.

3. Additional Services

Miscellaneous services give you the possibility to replace your battery, replace your bezel, and polishing your case or bracelet.
 


STEPS OF A COMPLETE SERVICE

All watches are serviced to the exacting standards required by the manufacturer. Once the watch has been assessed, service estimate is informed to the customer. Upon receipt of confirmation to proceed, every watch will undergo our processes. Here are the steps of a Complete Service:

1. Disassembly of the case

The strap or bracelet is detached from the watch and the case is disassembled using OMEGA proprietary tools.

2. Cleaning of the movement

The movement is taken apart and each component is thoroughly cleaned in our fully automatic cleaning machine, specifically for the cleaning of precision mechanical parts, such as gears and springs.

3. Replacing of worn components

Each component of the movement is meticulously examined. Worn components are replaced with original OMEGA parts.

4. Reassembly and lubrication of the movement

The movement is meticulously reassembled. Our OMEGA certified watchmaker lubricates contact points using all his skills and the best lubricants

5. Adjustment of the movement and control of its parameters

The completed movement is now regulated on a timing machine and adjusted according to the OMEGA’s standard

6. Cleaning and refurbishment of the case and bracelet

The shine of the case and metal bracelet is skillfully restored while preserving the original shape of each component

7. Reassembly of the case and renewal of the water resistance

The case is reassembled and all gaskets ensuring the water resistance are replaced. Once the case is closed the watch is then tested for water resistance, our equipment can test watches to a depth of 1,000 meters

8. Complete quality control

Every watch undergoes quality control process, we check not only the aesthetics but also verify the technical characteristics of your watch by testing the timekeeping, water resistance and power reserve. If they are within OMEGA’s standard then it passed, if not the watch is returned for further fine tuning. Quality controls takes between 2-5 days depending upon the requirements and type of watch being tested.
